From the Indonesian word sore, late afternoon:
that moment when the light softens and the day slows down.
SORÉ WAS BORN THERE
I always stayed too long at the beach and could never find the short sarong I wanted to wear after 6 PM.
So I created it.
Then we built the rest around it:
bags that hold everything, pouches that organize clutter, pieces that tie quickly and drape well.
Soré was born from a simple need:
to have something pretty, practical, and well-designed to wear when the day stretches on.
ANOTHER WAY TO EXPERIENCE SUMMER
We didn't want an ethical craft brand, nor a "trendy" brand.
We wanted a joyful, modern, and free brand. Pieces you actually wear, keep, and bring out again the following year.
For women who live with the sun, those who stay too long at the beach, those who go surfing in Mexico or on a road trip in the Basque Country.
Those who know time flies but still enjoy it.
BETWEEN LOMBOK & INDIA
Our sarongs and accessories are made between Lombok and Southern India, within women's collectives.
We work in small batches, in direct collaboration with workshops that actively participate in the emancipation of women.
Because doing things well matters, without necessarily making it a slogan.
Unique pieces, living materials, and accessories that don't look like everyone else's.
